Video Adam Driver on Grief in Burn This and the Power of Arts in the Military The 2019 Tony nominee spoke to Lara Spencer on Good Morning America.

Adam Driver visited Good Morning America this week to discuss the themes of Burn This, currently on Broadway starring the 2019 Tony nominee opposite Keri Russell and Brandon Uranowitz.

Written during the height of the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s by Langford Wilson, the play revolves around the sudden death of dancer Robbie and the loved ones who come together in a collision of grief and passion. Driver plays Pale, Robbie's estranged brother, with Russell and fellow Tony nominee Uranowitz playing the late Robbie's roommates.

Driver said that the play, in his mind, is about “being inarticulate about something so beautiful gone, without any warning or explanation, and then the loss of that life gone...it can make us into howling animals.”
