A Musical About Star Wars – or Why Star Wars is the Greatest Thing in the Galaxy, Much Much Better than Star Trek is set to play Theatre Row beginning March 14. The new musical comedy is created by Tom D’Angora, the producer behind Off-Broadway's The Marvelous Wonderettes and NEWSical The Musical.

A Musical About Star Wars is created by D’Angora and written by D’Angora, Taylor Crousore, and Scott Richard Foster. An original score and lyrics are by Billy Recce.

In A Musical About Star Wars, Taylor and Scott find themselves bonding in a Staten Island Blockbuster Video over their love of the Star Wars films. Together the self-proclaimed “Millennial Falcon” and “Gen-X Winger” create a musical that celebrates the magic, the fandom, and the legacy of all things Star Wars. That is, until their costar, an actor, activist, and recent graduate of AMDA, makes a startling admission.

The Off-Broadway production will star Taylor Crousore, Scott Richard Foster, and Emily McNamara, as Taylor, Scott, and Emily, respectively. Additional casting to be announced.
