AppleTV+ has set a release date for its upcoming holiday movie musical Spirited, a new take on A Christmas Carol starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds. Directed by Sean Anders and written by Anders and John Morris, the film will hit movie theatres November 11 and stream on AppleTV+ beginning November 18.
Joining Ferrell and Reynolds in the cast are stage favorites Patrick Page and Joe Tippett, along with Octavia Spencer, Sunita Mani, Loren Woods, Marlow Barkley, and Jen Tullock.
The film will include new songs written by Dear Evan Hansen team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, along with Khiyon Hursey, Sukari Jones, and Mark Sonnenblick.
