The third season of the queer, coming-of-age series Heartstopper—based on Alice Oseman's webcomic and graphic novel of the same name—will premiere on Netflix October 3.
The hit series follows the budding romance between Charlie (recent Sweeney Todd star Joe Locke) and fellow high school student Nick Nelson (Kit Connor, who will make his Broadway debut later this season in a revival of Romeo + Juliet). Get a first glimpse at the eight-episode season in the new trailer—which features a snippet of Billie Eilish's "Birds of a Feather"—above.

Andy Newbery directs the upcoming season, which also features William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood, and Leila Khan.
In the new season of Heartstopper, Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him, and Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the group of friends begin to realize that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges.
The executive producers are Patrick Walters, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Oseman, and Euros Lyn.
