Doctor Zhivago opened rehearsal room doors to give an early glimpse at the show which comes to Broadway on March 27. Based on Boris Pasternak’s Nobel Prize-winning novel, the epic musical takes the characters on a search for love during the final days of Czarist Russia, the First World War and the chaos of the Russian revolution. Tam Mutu, Kelli Barrett, Tom Hewitt, Paul Nolan and Lora Lee Gayer head the cast. Book is by Michael Weller, music is by Lucy Simon, with lyrics by Michael Korie and Amy Powers. Des McAnuff directs.
