Video Watch Scenes From Off-Broadway’s Clueless Musical, Starring Dove Cameron The New Group production officially opens December 11.

Dove Cameron stars in The New Group's world premiere of Amy Heckerling's Clueless, The Musical, based on her 1995 film of the same name. Watch scenes from the new production in the video above.

Directed by Kristin Hanggi with choreography by Kelly Devine, the production officially opens December 11 following previews that began November 20 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center. Performances are currently scheduled through January 12, 2019.

Like the Alicia Silverstone-led film, the musical concerns Cher (Cameron), a girl so optimistic she can’t see that her bungling attempts at playing Cupid disguise her own fashion-plated isolation.

Cameron is joined by Ephie Aardema as Tai, Sara Andreas as Heather, Gilbert L. Bailey II as Murray, Dave Thomas Brown as Josh, Will Connolly as Travis, Tiffany Engen (Swing), Katie Goffman (Swing), Danielle Marie Gonzalez as Lucy, Tessa Grady as Amber, Talya Groves as Summer, Chris Hoch as Mel/Mr. Hall/DMV Instructor, L'ogan J'ones as Max, Jeff Kuhr (Swing), Darius Jordan Lee as Sean, Justin Mortelliti as Christian, Megan Sikora as Miss Geist/Ms. Stoeger, Brett Thiele as Elton, and Zurin Villanueva as Dionne.

The production features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costumes by Amy Clark, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design by Gareth Owen, projection design by Darrel Maloney, music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Ethan Popp, and music direction by Matthew Smedal. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting. The production stage manager is Mary MacLeod.
