Betsy Wolfe, who is currently starring in Broadway’s Waitress, will be guest soloist with the Houston Symphony in concerts 8 PM November 10 and November 11 and 7:30 PM November 12 at Jones Hall in Houston, Texas.
She will co-star with Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Broadway’s Newsies, TV’s Supergirl and Smash) in a concert titled Broadway Today, featuring songs from The Book of Mormon, Once, Miss Saigon, Little Shop of Horrors, Dear Evan Hansen and other shows. Conducted by Steven Reineke, the symphony will also play orchestral arrangements of themes from The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King and Cats.
Prior to Waitress, Wolfe appeared on Broadway in the 2016 revival of Falsettos, as well as Bullets Over Broadway, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Everyday Rapture, and 110 in the Shade. Off-Broadway she appeared in The Last Five Years.
