News Seth Zvi Rosenfeld's Downtown Race Riot, With Annabella Sciorra, Premieres at Powerhouse Seth Zvi Rosenfeld's Downtown Race Riot, featuring Annabella Sciorra, premieres June 26 as part of the Vassar & New York Stage and Film Powerhouse Theater Mainstage season.

Directed by Scott Elliot, Downtown Race Riot runs through July 7.

Sciorra ("The Sopranos," The Motherf**ker with the Hat) is joined by Molly Carden (Emotional Creature), Miles Chandler ("Empire Falls"), Oghenero Gbaje, Jonathan Judge-Russo (Beyond the Horizon), Daniel London (Offices) and Thomas Sullivan.

Here's how it's billed: "There's a riot on in Washington Square Park and a motley band of feckless, funny young men are spoiling for a fight. Against this backdrop of tribal loyalties and petty beefs, 18-year old Pnut McPartland has to pick sides and hustle his family and his friends just to stay alive."

The production team includes Tony Award-winning set designer Derek McLane, costume designer Emily Rebholz, lighting designer Russell H. Champa and sound designer Bart Fasbender.
