Readings and Workshops Second Annual Liz Smith Reading Series Returns in March The series will feature new plays by Leslie Ayvazian, Emily Bohannon, Kara Lee Corthron, Conchi León, and Alexandra Neil.

The second annual Liz Smith Reading Series, presented by the Miranda Theatre Company, will return March 5–April 2 at the Cherry Lane Theatre, highlighting new works by Leslie Ayvazian, Emily Bohannon, Kara Lee Corthron, Conchi León, and Alexandra Neil. All readings are at 2 PM.

Actors featured in the series, which celebrates Women's History Month, include Sarita Choudry (Mississippi Masala), John Doman (HBO’s The Wire), Laura Gomez (Orange is the New Black), Paten Hughes, Florencia Lozano, and Zoe Van Tieghem.

The plays and their directors follow: Inside by León, directed by Valentina Fratti (March 5); Moucheron by Neil, directed by Maria Mileaf (March 12); Virtue by Bohannon, directed by Fratti (March 19); What Are You Worth? by Corthron, directed by Elena Araoz (March 28); and Mention My Beauty, by Ayvazian, directed by Martha T. Banta.

Dylan Baker (Bernhard/Hamlet, The Good Wife) and Danielle Skraastad (Hurricane Diane) will appear in the March 12 reading of Moucheron.
