Invitation-only industry presentations of the new musical Piece of Mind will be given March 5 at 6 PM and March 6 at 2 PM at the Davenport Theatre, 354 W. 45th St.

Directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell), the cast will be led by multi-Tony nominee Rebecca Luker as Patricia and Drama Desk winner Ed Dixon as Robert. The two actors will be joined by Lora Lee Gayer as Robert’s late wife Laura, Benjamin Eakeley as Robert’s younger self Bobby, Josh Breckenridge as Charles, Michael Lorz as Andy, and Ciela Elliott as Young Patricia.

Piece of Mind has book and lyrics by Geoffrey Goldberg and music by Steve Sweeting. The reading, with music direction by Eric Fotre Leach, is produced by Seaglass Theatrical. The stage manager is Suzanne Apicella.

Piece of Mind is a glimpse inside the failing mind of Robert, an 80-year-old former USO dancer, as he struggles with memories from a past that he is partly trying to remember and partly trying to forget.
