Best-selling author and Tony-winning performer Eve Ensler is back onstage with an adaptation of her acclaimed 2013 memoir, In the Body of the World, now in performances at Manhattan Theatre Club’s New York City Center – Stage I.
The monologue play, written and performed by Ensler (The Vagina Monologues), details her experiences working with women in the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo and being diagnosed with uterine cancer.
In the Body of the World is directed by Tony-winning director Diane Paulus, who helmed the world premiere at American Repertory Theater.
