Off-Broadway News Off-Broadway Revival of Merrily We Roll Along Extends Run Fiasco Theater brings its signature style to an all-new production of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical.

Roundabout Theatre Company has extended its limited run of Fiasco Theater’s new production of Merrily We Roll Along, which officially opened February 19 following previews that began January 12 in the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre.

Originally scheduled to run through April 7, performances will now end April 14. Read reviews for the production here.

Following Fiasco's Into the Woods, the resident company brings its signature ensemble style and imagination to the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical, told in reverse, about a trio of showbiz friends who come together and fall apart over several years.

With direction by Fiasco Artistic Director Noah Brody, the cast of Merrily We Roll Along is made up of Manu Narayan, Brittany Bradford, Jessie Austrian, Ben Steinfeld, Paul L. Coffey, and Emily Young. Nicole Ferguson, Jennifer Blood, Joe Joseph, and Nicholas Ryan are the understudies.

The production features choreography by Lorin Latarro and music direction and orchestrations by Alexander Gemignani.

Completing the creative team are Derek McLane (sets), Paloma Young (costumes), Christopher Akerlind (lighting), Peter Hylenski (sound), Meg Zervoulis (music contractor), Kathryn Armour (singing and Alexander technique consultant), and Mark Dobrow (production stage manager).

This production of Merrily We Roll Along incorporates additional material from George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's 1934 play that inspired the musical.
