On October 1, the long-running weekend morning show CBS Sunday Morning takes its act live with An Evening With CBS Sunday Morning. Focused on stories driven by pop culture and the arts and including interviews with entertainment icons, the live program will feature Tony winner and former Tony host Hugh Jackman and his The Front Runner director Jason Reitman, The Band's Visit Tony winner David Yazbek, and Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto, and Grant Shaud of Murphy Brown.

The 90-minute program, hosted by CBS Sunday Morning’s Jane Pauley, will feature the usual morning show correspondents in conversation with the tastemakers, artists, and leaders. Additional guests will be announced later.

Jackman and Reitman will discuss the new drama, which chronicles former Senator Gary Hart’s failed run at the U.S. Presidency. Yazbek will talk about The Band’s Visit; his segment will also feature a performance from the 2018 Tony-winning Best Musical.

Bergen, who has appeared on Broadway three times in Hurlyburly, Gore Vidal’s The Best Man, and Love Letters, will sit alongside her Murphy Brown castmates to discuss the re-boot of the hit series.

CBS Sunday Morning correspondents will also gather in a panel to share their favorite moments from broadcasts pass.

The live event is part of a new division of CBS known as CBS Experiences, dedicated to bringing the network’s programming to more audiences through live events.

CBS Sunday Morning airs regularly on Sundays at 9AM ET, executive produced by Rand Morrison.
