Following a sold-out run at the Public Theater, Sea Wall/A Life, starring Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony nominee Tom Sturridge, is set to begin performances at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre July 26. The production is scheduled to open August 8 and will play a limited engagement through September 29.
Ahead of the start of previews next week, Gyllenhaal and Sturridge paid a visit to the Hudson Theatre, just as front-of-house materials were being installed.
The back-to-back monologue plays, directed by Carrie Cracknell, explore the joys and pain of both love and loss as the men recall past events involving those they love.
