Wicked will be one of the shows participating in NYC Broadway Week this year, the program that makes available 2-for-1 tickets. The deal from applies to performances of select productions January 21–February 10.
Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, and The Book of Mormon are also participating in the NYCgo and Broadway League initiative. Also taking part are some new and limited-run shows, including King Kong, The Cher Show, and The Waverly Gallery.
Broadway Week is one of several programs the League takes on to promote accessibility to theatre. Other programs include Broadway Bridges, which aims to get every high school sophomore in New York City public schools to see a show.
