Cabaret & Concert News Billy Porter Brings His Solo Show to Bay Street Music Mondays August 14 The Kinky Boots star will appear as part of the concert series at the Hamptons area playhouse.

Singer-actor Billy Porter will perform his cabaret show August 14 as part of the Music Mondays concert series at Bay Street Theater in the Hamptons area resort town of Sag Harbor, New York.

Porter, who won the Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his performance as Lola in Kinky Boots, has also appeared on Broadway in Smokey Joe’s Café, Miss Saigon, and Shuffle Along. Porter released a tribute album to the music of composer Richard Rodgers earlier this year, and is scheduled to return to Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre September 26 for a limited engagement through January 7, 2018.
