The 64th Annual Drama Desk Awards are set to take place on Sunday, June 2 at The Town Hall. No host has been announced, but nominations will be revealed April 25. The awards cutoff date is April 24.
The awards celebrate the best of Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway, and are voted upon by theatre critics, journalists, editors, publishers, and broadcasters covering the industry. Big winners from last year's ceremony, hosted by Michael Urie, were SpongeBob SquarePants, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and the revival of Carousel.
Joey Parnes Productions and BroadwayBrands will partner with the Drama Desk Awards to produce the event. Broadway Brands CEO Matt Britten said the group plans to explore livestream and television options for future ceremonies.
