DESCRIPTION

Viterbo University is accepting applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor of music-voice.  This is a nine-month, full time, salaried position.

The primary responsibility of the visiting assistant professor of music-voice will be teaching applied voice to music and music theatre majors. 

Reports to: Dean, College of Business, Performing Arts, and Leadership



Responsibilities: The candidate will primarily teach applied voice lessons to music and music theatre majors.  Additional coursework in song literature or opera literature may be available based on interest and/or experience. 

Minimum Requirements:  The candidate should have experience in evidence based vocal pedagogy in addition to classical and musical theatre singing styles. DMA in Vocal Performance or Vocal Pedagogy preferred, MM required.  Prior collegiate-level voice teaching experience is preferred.
