The Times Center, located within The New York Times corporate headquarters in New York City, is a world-class, state-of-the-art special events venue hosting over 200 corporate and arts events annually, including New York Times specific events.
The TimesCenter seeks a video engineer and camera operator to join the technical production team. This house crew position is responsible for working with the lead video engineer to produce all types of video presentations in the venue while delivering excellent customer service. This includes graphic switching, live camera switching and remote camera operating
Working with the lead video engineer to integrate all types of video equipment into the house video system.
Working knowledge of Christie “M” series projectors, Barco S3 Switcher, Power Point, Keynote and Playback Pro, Youtube, Vimeo, Livestreaming Encoders, BlackMagic ATEM Switchers, OBS, Vmix
Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, time-crunched environment.
Ability to execute cues in a variety of situations from those called by a show caller to proactively using notes and verbal “cues” from onstage and virtual presenters.
Operation of countdown clock.
3-5 years experience with video in a production/corporate environment
