Project Description: Set in an early 1800s New England country town (or what you will), our production of Twelfth Night aims to highlight the magical history of Irvington through a genderqueer lens. This is a world in which nothing is as it seems and love shows itself in a myriad of ways. Each character yearns to find a sense of belonging and acceptance in this magical land of Illyria. With live music performed by a Rip Van Winkle-inspired Feste and performances by a gender bending cast, this female-led production hopes to spread a message of love and inclusivity.
This is a free outdoor production with a cast of 7 actors and a limited socially-distanced audience.
