DESCRIPTION

The Secret Theatre Academy produces at least two mainstage productions every year. Our Fall show goes up in Late September 2022. We are doing the classic British musical Oliver! [Please note at this time we have the rights to the Junior version but are hoping to do the full version, waiting for publisher's confirmation]

Fagin is cast, Bill Sykes is likely to be an adult actor but all over roles are open to actors who are 18 and younger. The production is a 10-show run from September 29th to October 8th.

Actors 12+ can apply for all of the main female roles including Nancy, Bet, Charlotte, Dodger, Charley Bates, Mrs Sowerby, Mr. Sowerby etc
Oliver will be played as a boy but female and male actors from 9+ can apply.

At the audition we will be asking actors to use sides [we provide] and also sing 16 bars of either I'd Do Anything, As Long As He Needs Me, Consider yourself, Where is Love [Oliver only].

For actors 7+ there will be a limited number of some parts for younger actors as orphans, street kids etc.

The production will be set in Victorian England with a steampunk twist. [The Secret Theatre first produced a Steampunk Oliver! in 2012 to great success.

Auditions Thursday 11th August 5 pm - 9 pm and Callbacks are Friday 12th, 5pm - 8 pm
