The Avenel Performing Arts Center (APAC) is seeking a creative, organized, and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and promotional efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant arts organization and contribute to the growth of live performance in New Jersey.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that increase visibility, drive ticket sales, and promote APAC’s mission. This role oversees all marketing channels, including digital, print, social media, email, and community outreach.
- Create and manage comprehensive marketing plans for all APAC events
- Develop content for email campaigns, social media, and website updates
- Coordinate with agencies and marketing teams for contracted performers
- Build and maintain relationships with media partners and local press
- Track and analyze campaign performance to improve future strategies
- Collaborate with the Artistic Director to manage promotional budgets
- Maintain and grow APAC’s brand identity and audience engagement
- Two or more years of experience in marketing, preferably within the arts or live events industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Experience with email marketing (such as Delivra), website CMS, and analytics tools
- Familiarity with ticketing software (such as Choice or Tessitura)
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- A passion for the performing arts and community engagement
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Full-time position
- Evening and weekend hours required during performances and events
