DESCRIPTION

Gen Connect is a theatre project for teenagers of all racial/ethnic backgrounds and gender identities. The project will be held in Westbury, NY. We are looking for local teens (based on Long Island) to participate. Throughout a series of workshops (beginning October 7th) with teaching artists, teens will develop their own artistic material about topics that matter to them. They will put on a performance at the end of the project, December 16th.

Gen Connect will occur in partnership with EastLine Theatre. The project is completely free of charge, as it is funded by the Statewide Community Regrant Program through the Huntington Arts Council.
