The Department of Theatre and Dance at the State University of New York, Fredonia invites qualified applications for a full-time lecturer in musical theatre as a Collaborative Keyboardist/Accompanist, Music Director and Instructor. This position is secured by a one-year contract, and is renewable annually with a salary range of $51,000 to $53,000 beginning August 20, 2025. Duties include music direction, accompaniment, possible vocal coaching, and teaching undergraduate musical theatre classes as assigned within the BFA Musical Theatre, Acting, and BA Theatre Arts degree programs. Prior university teaching experience is preferred, but exceptional candidates with no prior teaching experience will be considered.
