Off-Broadway general management office is seeking a motivated intern to join our team. This internship offers a wide variety of knowledge for those interested in commercial and non-profit theatre. Focus will be on assisting the general management and production staff on various projects and productions throughout the fall while receiving tailored instruction to the interests and needs of the participant. The internship will be completely virtual via Zoom meetings, conference calls, and email.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-sitting in on meetings and taking notes with clients and industry professionals
-performing guided research and analyses
-reviewing current and proposed contracts
-providing script coverage for current and potential projects
-liaising with staff and clients
This is an unpaid internship intended to educate and progress future arts administration and theatre professionals. College credit is available upon request.
-5-10 hours per week with flexible scheduling
-Access to computer with internet connection
-Familiarity/interest in commercial theatre and the NYC industry
-Professional demeanor with strong judgment for confidentiality and respect of privacy
