Roundabout Theatre Company, the nation’s largest not-for-profit theatre company, seeks a talented and personable individual with an interest in theatrical marketing to join the company as Digital Assistant.
The Digital Assistant is responsible for creating and publishing content for Roundabout’s social channels and for providing support to the internal digital team, assisting with the creation of content for emails, website updates, and more.
This is some of what the Digital Assistant will do:
· Create content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
· Maintain social calendar
· Social listening and community engagement
· Reporting using Sprout Social
· Collaborate with outside agencies on paid social campaigns
· Write/edit for Roundabout’s blog
· Capture content at marketing events
· Email asset creation as needed
· Web content maintenance and updates as needed
· Additional duties as assigned by Digital Manager
This is some of what the Digital Assistant should bring:
· Supreme time management skills
· Ability to multitask while preserving attention to detail
· Experience managing social channels
· Interest in theatre and in theatre administration
· Interest in marketing
· Graphic design experience/education
· Video editing experience a plus
· Photography experience a plus
· Positive attitude; a team player
This person will work remotely until our administrative offices reopen later this year, at which time full time in-person work will resume. Some evenings required around donor events. The starting salary for this position is $40,000 annually plus any overtime. This is a full time, regular job with standard Roundabout benefits.
