Synopsis & Character Breakdown:
Set in a Brooklyn dump, a community of fun-loving raccoons find food, friends, and foes as the next king ascends. A pair of taunting seagulls circle overhead, seeking out any opportunity to poach a snack or stir up trouble.

Big Guy- is a boisterous fat raccoon that craves admiration and wants to be liked by his friend Hula Hoop.

Hula Hoop - is a naive and nervous but spunky raccoon, Big Guy is her only friend.

Carcass - is a cantankerous opossum who just wants to be one of the raccoons.

G - is a bullish bull raccoon, who is King of the raccoons. Denzel in Training Day.

Equinox - is G's twin brother, a Shakespearan character as played by a community theater actor who never made it out of his hometown. Think Chris Hemsworth in Thor 1. (played by same actor as G)

Staten, Island, Ferry - are 3 raccoons born on the blood moon, on the seventh night of the seventh season, on the Staten Island Ferry. Ferry sounds like he's from the UWS in 1974. Staten & Island sound like the witches from the Scottish play.

Sheepshead - is the beautiful but intense wife of G, therefore the Queen of raccoons, and desperate to remain that way.

Koch - is a quirky older raccoon tramp, who was alive when Koch was mayor. Doesn't speak ever since witnessing the 'disappearance' of Jimmy Hoffa.

Verazzano - a beautiful seagull from Staten Island, so he's probably racist. (played by the same actor as Staten)

Kosciuszko - a seagull from Queens, so definitely racist. (played by the same actor as Island)

Position details:
We imagine the costumes wouldn't be extremely realistic, but at least obvious the actor is dressed up as a raccoon, though we are open to fresh ideas. You do not need to have every detail fleshed out, just submit your general ideas or inspired vision board to get things started. This will be a collaborative environment, working with the director to find a cohesive vision.

Responsibilities:

-Attends all tech and dress rehearsals

-Sources pieces within budget set for production by Broadway Bods

-Tailors/repairs pieces as needed
