DESCRIPTION

Casting "Dreamgirls," a smash hit musical that tells the story of a fictional 1960s Motown-inspired girl group, "The Dreams", as they rise to fame and face the realities of show business. It's a journey through the ups and downs of love, ambition, and betrayal within the glamorous world of music. This musical is filled with powerful vocals, dazzling performances, and an unforgettable score that includes R&B, pop, gospel, and disco.

Day One auditions: June 9 (6–10 p.m.) at AGI Studio, 2000 Powers Ferry Rd, Ste 2105, Marietta, GA.
Day Two auditions: June 10 (6–10 p.m.) at OMA Black Box Theatre, 222 Cross Plains Rd, Carrollton, GA.
Callbacks (in-person only) June 16 (6–10 p.m.) at AGI Studio, Marietta, GA.

What to Prepare:

1 song (R&B, Motown, or Gospel – 32-bar cut)

1 monologue (under 90 seconds)

An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to stay for a contemporary dance call. Virtual auditions available for round one only. Sign-up sheet www.therealtheatre.com/audition
