The play is an imagination of the take over of The Lafarge Cement, a French company here turned American, which was captured by ISIS in 2014. The play exposes corporate fraud and its consequences to the Syrian Civil War.

Youssef Abad— Syrian Sunni Muslim, Large man of 65; maintenance man and employee Rep. of Levernson Cement. Responsible to his country and the people in it. Ethical to a fault. And not afraid to voice what is just even to God.
Mohammed -- 15, Syrian Muslim, Youssef’s adopted son, small and psychologically unstable. (Might be played by actor of any gender)
Ali Abad— Syrian Sunni Muslim, Youssef’s natural son and front desk security, 25 strong and good looking. Might double as Kalid.
Frank Christianson –50-60 American, Managing Director of Levernson, charming womanizer, will do anything to keep the business in the black.
Marion Peters-- 40-50, American, Financial Director of Levernson, Now Frank’s rekindled love. She is the ethical backbone of the business and a voice of reason.
Sam Strong –- 40-60, American, Head of Security, any ethnicity, strong former military, looking for a way to cash in before getting out of the situation.
Farooq Sabah—40-60, Syrian Aristocrat, Father was a former minister in the Assad regime, he is in with everybody, rebels and government, shady and unscruplous. Hired as a agent for Levernson to deal with armed groups in Syria.
Alisha Obyat – 23, Syrian Sunni Muslim, rebel in hiding, engaged to Ali, her father had strong connections to government but rebelled, a Levernson secretary. She is kidnapped by ISIS.
Omar –30-40, Syrian Muslim, Lieutenant for ISIS, in al-Zumani’s company, more interested in taking revenge on the upper class than religious.
Kalid- 25-30, British or American, converted to Islam, a new recruit for ISIS used to send recruiting messages over the internet.
al-Zumani- 50-60, Iraqi, Sunni Muslim, leader of Unit 9 of ISIS in Syria. 50-60, inspirational leader for ISIS. Fought in Falluga, knows al-Baghdadi who led the ISIS take-over of Raqqa in 2014.
