Film & TV News Younger, Starring Sutton Foster, Renewed for Sixth Season The fifth season of the hit TVLand series premieres June 5.

At the season five premiere party for TVLand’s Younger, producers announced the comedy will return for a sixth season. The show stars two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster as a 40-something pretending to be 20-something in order to jump-start her career in publishing.

The fifth season of the series, premiering June 5, promises appearances by fellow Tony winners Christian Borle (who was previously married to Foster) and Laura Benanti.

The show, created by Darren Star, also stars Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard, and Charles Michael Davis. The fourth season was the series’ highest-rated and most-watched.
