Diana, boss to Sutton Foster's Liza (the 40-something who claimed to be a 20-something to get a job in publishing), is the kind of statement necklace–wearing, martini-sipping, bon mot–delivering boss we both aspire to be and are terrified of. Since Diana is the latest in a long line of such women, we wondered how familiar Miriam Shor, who brings Diana to delicious life, was with some earlier bosses.
When Shor—who originated the role of Yitzak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch Off-Broadway, as well as roles in Sweat and Scarcity—stopped by the Playbill office, we had her guess which classic quotes came from her own lips and which came from those of other fabulous female executives.
