News Watch Rosie O'Donnell Discuss Reasons for Leaving "The View" Rosie O'Donnell, who spent a much-in-the-news year as host of "The View" in 2006, will again depart the ABC talk show this week following her September return.

It was also recently reported that O'Donnell and her second wife Michelle Rounds have separated.

In a statement O'Donnell's spokesperson said, "Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention. This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first. ABC has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave 'The View.' Next week will be her last."

In a homemade video, O'Donnell said that her last live appearance on "The View" will be Feb. 12. She also spoke about her reasons for leaving the program. Watch the video below:

For six years, O’Donnell served as host and executive producer of the critically acclaimed and Emmy Award-winning nationally syndicated talk/variety series "The Rosie O’Donnell Show." She has hosted the Tony Awards three times and won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music Or Comedy Special for the 52nd Annual Tony Awards. Her theatre credits include Rizzo in the 1994 revival of Grease; Seussical; Fiddler on the Roof; Love, Loss and What I Wore; and the Encores! production of No, No, Nanette. In 2004 O'Donnell combined her love of Broadway with 80s pop musical sensation Boy George and produced the musical Taboo.

O'Donnell received the 2014 Isabelle Stevenson Award at the 2014 Tony Awards.
