The Other Josh Cohen features a book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen (the duo behind Don’t Quit Your Night Job), who will return to co-star in the title roles, under the direction of Tony nominee Hunter Foster. Additional casting will be announced.

Performances will begin October 26 ahead of a November 12 opening. The run will continue through February 24, 2019.

In The Other Josh Cohen, Josh has hit rock bottom—he’s single and broke and his apartment’s been robbed of everything but a Neil Diamond CD. His luck takes a turn when a mysterious envelope arrives.

The Other Josh Cohen was originally developed at New York Musical Festival ahead of its 2012 Off-Broadway debut. The subsequent Paper Mill run, in 2014, was followed by a limited engagement at Geva Theatre Center in New York earlier this year. Geva is serving as associate producer for the remount. Suzanne Gilad and Larry Rogowsky will produce.

The design team will be made up of scenic designer Carolyn Mraz (Beardo, {my lingerie play}), lighting designer Jeff Croiter (Peter and the Starcatcher), sound designer Bart Fasbender (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and costume designer Nikki Moody (Rocky Horror Show, Guys and Dolls at Bucks County). Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting (Kaitlin Shaw, CSA); general management is by Brierpatch.

Audience Rewards members will be able to purchase tickets beginning August 17, and tickets to the general public will go on sale through Telecharge.com beginning August 24.
