News Shirley Jones Will Host "Great Broadway Musical Moments From The Ed Sullivan Show" "Great Broadway Musical Moments From The Ed Sullivan Show," a PBS special highlighting theatrical performances on the acclaimed variety TV show, will air Dec. 1.

Produced by TJ Lubinsky's PBS specials, the program will be hosted by Shirley Jones and feature special guests Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey (Cabaret, Goodtime Charley) and Rex Reed.

The program will include performances of "Put On a Happy Face" by Dick Van Dyke from Bye Bye Birdie; "Oklahoma!" by John Raitt, Celeste Holm, Florence Henderson, Barbara Cook and Richard Collett from the musical of the same name; "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?" by Julie Andrews from My Fair Lady; and "There's No Business Like Show Business" by Ethel Merman from Annie Get Your Gun, among others.

Jones performed on Broadway in Maggie Flynn and 42nd Street. An Academy Award winner, her film work includes "The Music Man," "Carousel," "Oklahoma!" and "Elmer Gantry." She played Shirley Partridge on "The Partridge Family" and has appeared on "The Drew Carey Show," "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch," "Melrose Place" and "General Hospital."
