Cabaret & Concert News See Broadway Stars Sing with Neuro-Diverse Theatre Company EPIC Players in April 2 Cabaret

Broadway alums DeAnne Stewart, Derek Klena, Jake David Smith, and more perform with artists from the neuro-diverse theatre company on World Autism Day.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, neuro-diverse theatre company EPIC Players presents EPIC Heroes: Live at Lincoln Center, a cabaret benefit at the Stanley Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center April 2, World Autism Day.

The cabaret features performances by Broadway alums such as Tony nominee Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill), DeAnne Stewart (Jagged Little Pill), Rebecca Kuznick (Sistas), and Jake David Smith (Frozen) alongside 23 EPIC Players artists, the majority of whom are neuro-diverse. EPIC artists performing are Travis Burbee, Ellie Sondock, Nick Moscato, Gideon Pianko, Andrew Kader, Samantha Elisofon, Jessy Leppert, Gianluca Cirafici, Kylie Hogrefe, Harrison Gottfried, Nada Smith, Henry Houghton, Shayna Goldberg, Laisha Gonzalez, Joshua Cartegena, Mina Cuesta, Nicholas Barberio, Conor Tague, Katherine Tepan, Sadie Malaby, William Ketter, Claire Mercier, Breana Baron, and Alexander Michael Reeves.

EPIC Players is a non-profit and neuro-diverse theatre company which produces mainstage productions, musical cabarets, and original showcases that feature neuro-diverse artists. It also provides classes and access to resources as part of its mission to further inclusion in the arts of neuro-diverse artists and communities.

“This celebratory event is an opportunity to showcase the strides and successes of EPIC Players and our community of neuro-diverse actors – all looking for an equal opportunity to chase their dreams," said Aubrie Therrien, Executive and Artistic Director at EPIC Players, in a statement.

Therrien directs alongside music director Scott Evan Davis while David Andreana and Eric Fegan assist. EPIC Players serves as the producer. Ahead of the 7 PM performance will be a cocktail hour beginning at 6 PM. 

EPIC has also announced two free public performances at the David Rubinstein Atrium at Lincoln Center April 30.
