Linedy Genao (Bad Cinderella, On Your Feet!), Michael Maliakel (Aladdin), and original cast member Austin Colby (Jersey Boys) stepped into the roles of Myrtle Wilson, Nick Carraway, and Tom Buchanan, respectively, in the new musical The Great Gatsby March 31 at the Broadway Theatre. Completing the show’s principal cast are Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Terrence Mann as Meyer Wolfsheim. The ensemble includes Alexis Hasbrouck, Curtis Holland, Nathaniel Hunt, Brandon J. Large, Traci Elaine Lee, Dariana Mullen, Chase Peacock, Kayla Pecchioni, Mariah Reives, Dan Rosales, Dave Schoonover, Tess Soltau, Preston Taylor, Jessica Mallare White, and Matt Wiercinski. Kurt Csolak, Carissa Gaughran, Morgan Harrison, Justin Keats, Samantha Pollino, Alex Prakken, Elena Ricardo, and Jasmine Pearl Villaroel round out the company as swings.

Based on the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, The Great Gatsby features music and lyrics by Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square) and Jason Howland (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and a book by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones). Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) directs with choreography by Dominique Kelley (Mariah’s Magical Christmas Special).
Set in the Roaring '20s, the musical follows eccentric millionaire Jay Gatsby, who will stop at nothing in his tragic pursuit of Daisy Buchanan, a wealthy young woman whom he loved in his youth.
