LuPone will kick off her tour February 4 at the Noorda Center for the Performing Arts in Orem, Utah, with dates currently scheduled through May 1 at the Long Center in Austin, Texas. LuPone debuted Don’t Monkey with Broadway in April 2016 at Symphony Space in Manhattan. That concert featured tunes by Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Jule Styne, Stephen Schwartz, Charles Strouse, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin. The stage and screen star subsequently released a live recording of the concert on Broadway Records.
LuPone also won Tonys for her performances in Evita and the 2008 revival of Gypsy; she won her first Olivier Award for her work in The Cradle Will Rock and Les Misérables, and her second for the 2019 London revival of Company.
