News Oh Hell No! Benefit Plays New World Stages Tonight Civil rights activist and author David Mixner premieres his new stage work, Oh Hell No!, a one-night-only evening of autobiographical storytelling, Oct. 27 at 7 PM at New World Stages.

Perhaps best known as a political firebrand, author David Mixner chronicles his personal and public political life "in the grand tradition of the American South," using a mix of story and song.

Oh Hell No! is directed by Stephen Brackett and features Sarah Uriarte Berry, Chris Bolan, Megan Osterhaus and Will Reynolds. Musical direction is by Mat Eisenstein.

Event chairs for the evening include Alan Cumming, Robert Desiderio, Herb Hamsher, Judith Light, Ken Mehlman, Rob Smith, Jonathan Stoller, Jorge Valencia and Edie Windsor.

Proceeds from the evening benefit the Point Foundation, an organization which helps LGBT youth achieve their fullest academic and leadership potential.
