Marian Seldes, who appeared in nearly two dozen Broadway plays including Deathtrap, (she famously never missed a performance of the long-running hit),Equus, The Chalk Garden, and several plays by Edward Albee, including Tiny Alice and A Delicate Balance, was born August 23, 1928. Her performance as Julia in A Delicate Balance won her the 1967 Tony Award as Best Featured Actress in a Play. In 2010, Seldes was also honored with a Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement.
Playbill followed choreographer Lorin Latarro around as she juggled rehearsals for two different Broadway shows: The Who's Tommy and The Heart of Rock and Roll.
