After quickly selling out last month following its initial return announcement, the limited run of Freestyle Love Supreme at Ars Nova's Greenwich House Theater has added four additional performances. The improvisational hip-hop and theatre night, conceived by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Anthony Veneziale, will play at the Off-Broadway theatre January 30–March 3, 2019.

In addition, a TodayTix lottery for 15 tickets per show will be offered during the five-week run. There will also be a special added benefit performance March 3 to support Ars Nova that will feature Miranda.

Freestyle Love Supreme is a high-energy show that blends hip-hop, improvisational theatre, music, and vocal stylings. The evening will feature six performers who will take cues from the audience and spin them into comedy, instantaneous songs and riffs, and musical numbers.

The show will be performed by Andrew Bancroft AKA “Jelly Donut,” Arthur Lewis AKA “Arthur The Geniuses,” Bill Sherman AKA “King Sherman,” Chris Sullivan AKA “Shockwave,” Anthony Veneziale AKA “Two-Touch,” and Utkarsh Ambudkar AKA “UTK.”

A number of surprise guests are also slated to appear throughout the run, including Miranda, Chris Jackson, James Monroe Iglehart, and Daveed Diggs.

“We are all thrilled at the immediate and tremendous response to the return of Freestyle Love Supreme,” said producer and director Kail. “The intense demand for tickets confirms that this is the right time to bring the show back, and since it sold out so quickly, we made it a priority to find four more performances to add to the run—along with a $30 lottery to make the show affordable and accessible to even more people.”
