Oscar and Tony nominee Kathleen Turner, and Olivier winner and Matilda favorite Lesli Margherita are among the celebrity performers who will take part in Villain: DeBlanks, the murder mystery word game, March 22 at Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York as a fundraiser for the American Civil Liberties Union.

As in other versions of the show that have been performed in recent years, the audience provides nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. as the actors enact the story of Philip DeBlanks’ untimely demise.

Turner has starred in film and on Broadway, earning Tony nominations for her performances in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1990) and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (2005). She earned her 1987 Oscar nomination in Peggy Sue Got Married. Margherita also toplined the Broadway revival of the musical Dames at Sea.

Also taking part will be Tony nominee Micah Stock (It’s Only A Play, The Front Page), Erin Richards (Gotham), Michael Potts (Book of Mormon, True Detective), Maulik Pancholy (30 Rock, Star Trek: Discovery), and Patrick Hinds (host of the Theater People podcast).

Doors open for Villain: DeBlanks at 8:45 PM; the performance begins at 9:30. Tickets cost $25-$60 plus a $25 food/beverage minimum. Tickets can be ordered at 54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4 PM will be available only by calling (646) 476-3551.
