Broadway theatre manager and producer (and clarinetist) Joe Traina will release his fifth recording this fall.

Entitled Tip of the Hat, the new recording will pay tribute to celebrated jazz musicians Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and Chet Baker. Songs will include Cole Porter's “Get Out of Town,” George Gershwin's “'S Wonderful,” Hoagy Carmichael's “Stardust,” Gene De Paul's “You Don't Know What Love Is,” and Duke Ellington's “Take the 'A' Train.”

Two-time Grammy nominee Pete McGuinness, who penned the arrangements, will also play trombone and sing on the recording.

Traina has managed and operated theatres for various Broadway owners and produced two indie films: The Dragon's Eye and Lucky Stiff. He was also an associate producer of the 2009 Tony-winning revival of Hair.

Traina has also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help finance the project.
