News Jeremy Kushnier to Play Iago in Pittsburgh Public's Modern Othello Jersey Boys' Jeremy Kushnier has joined the cast of the Pittsburgh Public Theater staging of Othello, helmed by Ted Pappas and re-imagined in mid-19th century Venice. The Broadway actor will play the role of Iago.

The Shakespeare classic, starring Teagle F. Bougere (A Raisin in the Sun) in the title role and Amanda Lee Cobb (Private Lives) as Desdemona, will play April 16-May 17 at the O'Reilly Theater.

The production continues the theatre's 40th anniversary, "Season of Legends."

The cast will also include Edward James Hyland, Paul Terzenbach, Michael MacCauley, Daniel Krell, Larry John Meyers, David Whalen, Christopher McFarland, Jessica Wortham, Robin Abramson, Shaun Cameron Hall, Ross Kobelak, Joseph Martinez, Andrew William Miller, Garrett Storm and Michael Sullivan.

The design team features James Noone (scenery), Gabriel Berry (costumes), Kirk Bookman (lighting) and Zach Moore (sound). Randy Kovitz is the fight director, and casting is by McCorkle Casting. Ruth E. Kramer is the production stage manager, and Caitlin Roper is the assistant stage manager.
