Jason Gotay, Natalie Weiss, George Salazar, Lauren Pritchard and More Will Join Zack Zadek in Concert | Playbill

News Jason Gotay, Natalie Weiss, George Salazar, Lauren Pritchard and More Will Join Zack Zadek in Concert Contemporary musical theatre songwriter Zack Zadek will offer an evening of story-driven synth-pop June 29 at 54 Below. Jason Gotay, Natalie Weiss and Lauren Pritchard are among the evening's lineup.

Zadek will co-lead a full-piece band with Broadway orchestrator and musical director Charlie Rosen (The Visit, Honeymoon in Vegas). Max Friedman directs, and Valerie Novakoff produces.

Perfomers include Gotay (Peter Pan Live!, Bring It On, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark), "Lolo" Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Janet Krupin (If/Then, Hands on a Hardbody), George Salazar (Godspell, Be More Chill), Weiss (Everyday Rapture), Hannah Elless (Godspell, Bright Star) and Harrison Chad (Caroline, or Change; Peter Pan).

Zadek will lead a full-piece band featuring music director Rosen, Noah Yoo and Ethan Pakchar.

Of the evening, Zadek says, "In many ways, this 54 Below concert feels like the biggest artistic statement I've made since I started playing in NYC — a true blend of the electronic music that inspires me and defines the bands of my generation, and the musical theatre narratives that I've always been interested in telling. No compromises this time — we're going full drum machine, full synth, and testing the limits of indie music and contemporary musical theatre. It's been almost two years since my last concert — I can't wait to share what I've been working on."

Zadek's musicals include 6 (NYMF 2012), The Crazy Ones (NY Theatre Barn, NYMF 2013) and The Role of a Lifetime (produced by William Berlind, Lyrics by Randy Blair). His work has been heard at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Joe's Pub and The Highline Ballroom, as well as at sold-out concerts in London and Los Angeles.
