The six actors who will play the Comedian Harmonists in the upcoming Broadway bow of Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman’s Harmony are Manilow’s guests at his May 31-June 4 concerts at Radio City Music Hall.
Sean Bell, Danny Kornfeld, Zal Owen, Eric Peters, Blake Roman, and Steven Telsey, who will all make their Broadway debuts this fall, join Manilow, his band, and a 50-piece orchestra at Radio City. The six actors will perform two songs from Harmony's score at each of the five concerts.
Harmony, as previously reported, will begin previews at the Barrymore October 18 prior to an official opening November 13. The musical played an acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement last year.
Harmony features an original score by Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner Manilow with lyrics and a book by Drama Desk Award winner Sussman. Tony winner Warren Carlyle (The Music Man; Hello, Dolly!) directs and choreographs. Chip Zien will star.
