Mini episodes of the duo's 5 Questions With JAM and James series will release weekly, culminating in a live show celebrating the Best Musical Tony winner.

A Strange Loop Broadway cast members John-Andrew Morrison ("JAM") and James Jackson, Jr. are taking theatre fans behind the scenes of the Best Musical Tony-winning show at the Lyceum Theatre with new A Strange Loop mini episodes of their YouTube series 5 Questions With JAM and James.

In the first episode, the duo take a look at "All Things Electric," exploring the show's automation system, lighting and sound setups, and more. Along with introducing the production's electric team, the episode features special guest and House Electrician Sandy Paradise. Watch the episode above. Episodes will release every Monday leading up to a live show at Green Room 42 September 19.

Morrison and Jackson, Jr. both appear as Thoughts in A Strange Loop, with Morrison earning a 2022 Tony nomination for his work. Together with nods for Leading Actor in a Musical (Jaquel Spivey), Featured Actress in a Musical (L Morgan Lee), Book and Score of a Musical (Michael R. Jackson), Scenic Design of a Musical (Arnulfo Maldonado), Lighting Design of a Musical (Jen Schriever), Sound Design of a Musical (Drew Levy), Direction of a Musical (Stephen Brackett), and Orchestrations (Charlie Rosen), A Strange Loop's 12 Tony Award nominations made it the most Tony-nominated production of the season, ultimately winning Best Musical and Book.

The work centers on Usher, a young, Black, gay theatre writer grappling with his toxic inner thoughts while trying to write a musical about a young, Black, gay theatre writer grappling with his toxic inner thought while trying to write a musical about... and on and on. The cast is led by Spivey as Usher, with Morrison, Jackson, Jr., Lee, Antwayn Hopper, John-Michael Lyles, and Jason Veasey as Usher's Thoughts.
