Brent Carver, a Tony winner for his performance in Kiss of the Spider Woman, will debut his new solo show, Walk Me To the Corner, November 8-20 at Toronto's The Greenwin Theater.

The Canadian actor conceived his show with musical director/arranger Reza Jacobs, who will accompany Carver on piano with Anna Atkinson on accordion, viola, and violin.

Carver, who is scheduled to be part of next season's Stratford Festival, told thestar.com that his upcoming evenings, presented by the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company, will focus mostly on songs by Jewish composers. Attendees can expect to hear the works of Kurt Weill, George Gershwin, Harold Arlen, Jason Robert Brown, and more.

Carver was also Tony-nominated for his work in Parade; his Broadway credits also include King Lear and Romeo and Juliet.
