Stage and screen star Midler will be accompanied by longtime friend and music director, composer-lyricist Marc Shaiman (Hairspray, Mary Poppins Returns). The event begins at 9 PM ET; Midler is scheduled to perform at 11 PM.

The WorldPride celebration will also feature Tony winner Cyndi Lauper, Beyoncé choreographer Chris Grant, STOMP, Cirque du Soleil Zumanity, and more.

Event producer Jake Resnicow told Variety, “The 50th anniversary of Stonewall will bring millions of people from all over the world to New York this Pride. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate our progress while working towards a better future. It will allow everyone to come together on one dance floor, in the city that started it all.”

Proceeds benefit LGBTQ+ charities, including the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative and LIFEBeat.
