Playbill Universe Beanie Feldstein Destined to Become Real-Life 'Sadie, Sadie Married Lady'

The Funny Girl star is newly engaged to producer Bonnie Chance Roberts.

Broadway Funny Girl star Beanie Feldstein is on the fast track to become "Sadie, Sadie, Married Lady" in real life—but not to Nick Arnstein. According to a heartwarming Instagram post, Feldstein said yes when producer Bonnie Chance Roberts proposed. See pictures from the couple's engagement below.

Feldstein is currently starring as Fanny Brice in Broadway's first-ever revival of Funny Girl at the August Wilson Theatre. The production recently announced that she will depart the production along with co-star Jane Lynch September 25.

Before Funny Girl, Feldstein made her Broadway debut in the recent revival of Hello, Dolly!. Her screen credits include BooksmartLady Bird, and American Crime Story: Impeachment, along with the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. Roberts' credits include co-producing How to Build a Girl (starring Feldstein) and the 2017 short Nether, along with the screen adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, as head of film for Monumental Pictures.
