Retrograde, a astrology-based musical concept album by Nick Laughlin (Drag: The Musical) and Richard C. Walter (Madame Clicquot), has released its first single.

The song, "Dazzled," features vocals by Dylan Mulvaney, representing Aries in the album's journey to explore the inner life of each zodiac sign. Written and produced by Laughlin and Walter alongside Jesse St. John and Zhone and mastered by Drew Louis, the single is available for streaming now.

The team will release one song per month with a new artist to coincide with each sign’s season, culminating in a stage production that will include the songs from the album alongside show-only material. The production will follow the story of Anna, an aspiring astronomer, as she navigates her college journey. When she finds herself suddenly rejected from the astronomy program her father founded, she becomes laser-focused on getting back in, achieving her dreams of joining NASA, and carrying on her family legacy. Along the way, Anna encounters and learns from each personified zodiac sign in a different way, ultimately having to confront that there may be more meaning in the stars than she ever realized before.
